Choosing A Wedding Magician
At any celebration one thing that you do want to get right, is the entertainment. It can help make or break any event and a wedding is no exception.

Magic is the new boy on the block and is becoming increasingly popular, it’s not hard to see why, it has so much going for it.

Unlike most other forms of entertainment magic can be very unobtrusive mixing and mingling with guests performing very close up and moving on from guests that might not want to be entertained right now.

It is a form of entertainment that is enjoyed by all ages from the very young to the very old. We all love to be amazed and although everyone has seen magic on TV, very few have had the opportunity to see it up close and personal and even have the magic happen in their own hands. So it’s also something a bit different.
Magic is also very versatile in not only appealing to such a wide range of people but working very well in many different situations. Here are the six most popular times that magic is used during a wedding celebration.

1. During the photographs, it is usual that many people are not directly involved in having their picture taken and so they are often left standing around, this is an ideal time to go in and *entertain and amaze* with a little close up magic.

2. Before the meal, there is often a period where people are getting drinks and standing or sitting around in small groups, again ideal for a bit of *mix and mingle* magic and a great ice breaker.

3. Magic is also a perfect addition to the wedding breakfast working between courses.. It helps to bring people together who may have only met for the first time when they sit down at the table a few moments before and is a great *conversation starter*. Many times those conversations are still going on days and weeks later.

4. *Magic* is great at the start of the evening reception for an hour or two before the sherry sets in. Just as the evening guests arrive is the perfect time as the music isn't in full swing and people may be standing around awkwardly and looking to be brought into a group.

5. Something that has become increasingly popular is a *cabaret slot*, this can run from 15 minutes to an hour or more and ensures that absolutely no one misses out on seeing the magic. It also allows for a different kind of magic to be seen.

6. Finally as well as magic being great for adults, *children love magic too*. Although the children will get to see magic in the above situations there is one time that is ideally suited for something very special for the children. It is during the speeches. This is a time which can be quite boring for children and difficult for adults to keep children quiet and happy. This is easily solved by arranging for the children to have their own magic show during this period. It works fantastically well and makes the day extra special for all the children while giving the adults a little break.
