Whether the proposal is totally spontaneous or planned with military precision, something you expected or have been waiting for, or a total surprise. The moment somebody asks you to marry then  will be something that you remember for the rest of your life. A memory to pass on to your children.

Whilst politician Tony Benn asked his wife Caroline to marry him on a park bench in Oxford, which they later bought and placed in their garden as a memento.
