Low House, Armathwaite is a Georgian Country House set in its own grounds and gardens overlooking the River Eden in Cumbria. Low House is fully-licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and can accommodate wedding parties of most sizes. There is the choice between indoor and outdoor ceremonies and guest numbers will determine whether the wedding reception can be held indoors or in a marquee or tipis on either of the large lawns. Low House prides itself in offering a great deal of flexibility to our wedding parties during the planning process including 'in-house' catering and will help each wedding party to work up their bespoke menus as they want. Low House offers exclusive use to every wedding party, irrespective of size, and is available throughout the year.
