Low House, Armathwaite is a Georgian Country House set in its own grounds and gardens overlooking the River Eden in Cumbria. Low House is fully-licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships and can accommodate wedding parties of most sizes. There is the choice between indoor and outdoor ceremonies and guest numbers will determine whether the wedding reception can be held indoors or in a marquee or tipis on either of the large lawns. Low House prides itself in offering a great deal of flexibility to our wedding parties during the planning process including 'in-house' catering and will help each wedding party to work up their bespoke menus as they want. Low House offers exclusive use to every wedding party, irrespective of size, and is available throughout the year.

The Events Venue on Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire Secluded Wood & Parkland Available for Exclusive Hire Woodside is set in the idyllic woodland of Heytesbury Our marquee is set in a sheltered area with a picturesque wood on one side and a field on the other, ideal for activities or camping. Accommodating numbers up to 200 guests with panoramic windows, reception area and twinkling canopy over the dance floor. It is a perfect setting for a wedding reception, party, family get together or any event requiring an exclusive space. Not only is the marquee an idyllic setting but there are woodland walks and areas for outdoor seating as well as numerous scenic locations. A licenced bar is included and we have our own in-house caterers who can design a menu for your individual taste, from formal dining to BBQs and buffets. There is plenty of room for outside activities, guest camping or just chilling out.
